The best parking is at the large carpark on the B3351 at the marked viewpoint at SZ006818. Follow the nearby path south to a gate at SZ006814 where you can make a way left up the bank to the ridge. Do not be tempted to ascend the ridge any earlier as its rim is protected by impenetratable gorse and brambles.
