You can park by the railway at NO272154 (see photo) or just up the access track at NO273153 (see photo).

Follow the track E then SE to NO274152 then N along the forest boundary. At the end of the forest head E uphill through rough thistly and nettly ground to the top of the field then NNE to a gap in the hedge. Heading E through the gap follow the track uphill to the next gap at NO278154 which leads to the summit.
