Park at the entrance to an unmarked forest track at NT093971 (see photo) and take the forest track heading W from NT093971 (which is muddy at first). Follow this to a junction at NT082970 then head S to its end at NT083963 where a track heads through the forest to emerge at NT079963. From heare a good track takes you to the summit. I recommend returning by the same route. The first entrance to the forest at its corner ends in a fire break where the way ahead is not obvious.
