Park at NO339159 but keep well off the road - (my car was parked as in the photo and was scraped by a passing tractor with attachment). Another car parked in the field opposite. Follow the track NNW then W then N towards Mount Hill. A track then heads W round the far side of Hopetoun Monument and ascends the hill from the W.
