Creag nam Mial & Hill of Persie

These two hills can be tackled from Ballintum on the A924 where there is a layby opposite the church. Creag nam Mial was hard going in deep snow and thick heather. I followed the ridge from Meall Dubh and returned following the parallel wall & fence. (4 hrs 40 mins, 7.2 miles, 1630' of ascent) The start for Hill of Persie is a short way up the road on a waymarked path vie Tomlea farm. Leave the track after a couple of gates and head for the trig point at Knock of Balmyle wher the views are better than from Hill of Persie which is a short way further on.
