Heeding Anne Bowker’s advice on access from the dam (although this may now be CROW access land), I parked at a small roadside quarry at SH861384 and headed up the track to it’s highest point. Heading uphill next to a fence on fairly easy ground leads directly to the summit cairn. Do not be misled by the second apparently higher cairn to the SW which is obviously lower when you get there.
