I parked at Sylfaen station (just a lay-by) on the A458 at SJ175065. Initially following the right of way from the stile opposite, I had hoped to traverse the hill NE for a direct ascent of the hill. This is not possible however because of the dense gorse and bracken cover. There is an unmarked path cutting off some of the corner though. There may be a better route from the path at SJ187066, but it was unclear from the road if you can park there. (1 hour, 2 miles, 550’ of ascent)
