You can park at the track entrance at SN736887 and follow the reservoir-side track to araund SN750882 from where a direct ascent can be made to Drosgol.From the summit cairn head roughly north towards a farm building at SN761889 (You could usefully bike to this point and do both hills from here). The river crossing might be tricky in wet weather. From the farm head directly to the summit cairn. Descend to the bridleway at SN795891 and return on this track. Do not be tempted to take a short cut over Cefn yr Esgair as the going is particularly hard with large ‘turks heads’ and hollows – it takes ages to make progress.
