There is limited parking on the verge at SN742071. The ‘No access to hill’ signs should be heeded, as the going is gorse covered. Instead follow the road N to pick up a boggy forest track right of way. Just after some large boulders across the path turn right on a path to the forest edge from which the unmarked summit is attained. (I only discovered this route in descent)
