Well I have been out and about and have managed to catch a few fish now. Unfortunately when I started I did not have scales and a sling so I cannot tell you the weight of some of the fish. However, I have managed to get a few good photos which are below.
Pike caught on the river Nene near Wellingborough and this was my first fish.
The next few photos where taken at the Ringstead fishing site.

I had invested in some scales and a sling now so here we have my personal bests with a 1lb 8oz perch and a 4lb 13oz tench.
Another good day up at the lake with a decent tench and perch.
I also caught 3 eels with the one in the net being the biggest. I did not have my scales with me but it was around 4 feet long and fought very hard. On the right is my fishing buddy Nige with a good sized perch. We had a good day catching over 25 fish which included roach, rudd, eel, perch and tench.
