One of the tours I did during my time in the RAF was with Tactical Communications Wing at RAF Brize Norton. The unit is deployed throughout the world and you can guarantee if there is a hot spot or something is going to kick off this unit is one of the first in the area. To get you ready for this sort of deployment you had to go through the Brutus course which, was split with 2 weeks at Brize and then 2 a Proteus training camp in Sherwood Forest. It was probably the most physically and mentally demanding training I did while in the RAF. Here is the photographs and certificate to prove I did it.
