THE MORRISONS NOW

The Morrisons disbanded in 1988 and since then Ian Churchward has played in various bands including "Just A Shadow" with Jerry Brimicombe and Andy England (who also played in "Number Four Joystreet). Until very recently Phil Andrews has been playing in "Jensen" (see music page for releases) with Rog Crompton (who recorded and engineered The Morrisons flexi disc session tracks on his four-track reel to reel machine in 1986).

Ian also plays guitar in a folk rock band called "Phoenix" (www.phoenixbarndance.com) and has also recorded as "The Legendary Ten Seconds" with Guy Bolt and to date four tracks have been released on The Golden Pathway label (www.goldenpathway.freeserve.co.uk) one of these tracks also features Phil Andrews on guitar.

From the original Morrisons line up Ian Churchward Phil Andrews and Dave Clifford are back together again with Guy Bolt on drums and have recorded some new songs as "The Morrisons" which will form part of a CD release sometime in the next few months. New songs written by Phil recorded to date are "This Life" "Turning Away Again" It’s a Shame" "Grab The Key" and "Town after Town" which was written by Ian and Phil and performed by the original Morrisons line up but never committed to tape.
