Pub Moots

This page has now been superseded by the Pagan Central moots information on http://www.pagancentral.org/moots.php. Please look there. I shall leave this page here for now, but please note it is already out-of-date and will not be updated, unless something unusual happens.

These are the Pagan Pub Moots (regular meetings) in Birmingham and the West Midlands of the U.K. and those that are not too far away. Click on an area of the map or on one of the moot names for more  information. Note, I hope the map is now up-to-date.

Please note that inclusion here does not mean that the moots are approved of or authorized by this site, this web-master or any or any organization, except where stated. This page is only for information and you should take all possible care when joining a moot.

I can personally vouch for the Great Western, Scruffy Murphy's, Stonehouse and Walk and Talk moots.

If you want to set a new moot up, talk to us at one of the other moots.

Most weeks there are at least two moots going on in Central England! Find the moot closest to you, or that most suites you. See the calendar for moot dates.

Birmingham City Centre Moots

Birmingham Central Moot

Rainbow Moot

The Rainbow LGBT* Moot, Wellington Pub, Bristol  St., Birmingham City Centre, First and Third Tuesday in the month from 8.00  pm onwards in the rear bar. For further information e-mail rainbowmoot@lycos.co.uk  For moot dates see Calendar.

* LGBT = Lesbian, Gay, Bi & Transgender, but the moot is open to all sexualities,  and none!

Solihull & Birmingham East Moot

Birmingham West Moot

Great Barr Moot

A friendly open pub moot on the North Side of Birmingham, convenient for junction 7 M6 for those travelling through the Midlands! Good beer, and great company, and a country park within 5 minutes walk!

A Druid Grove

 Walk and Talk  Moot

Family and Coffee Moot

Meeting for families in each school holiday and half-term breaks, and a midday coffee moot in-between. Coffee moots are normally in the café of Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery (BM&AG) in the winter months, then at other interesting places in the suburbs the rest of the year.  See Calendar for dates and events page for the location.

Gorsedd of the Bards of the Lost Forest

A group of people that share open rituals for the eight points of the year in the Lickeys, and occasional workshops in the same area. See the yahoo group druids-web for details. See Calendar for dates and events page for the location.

Coventry Earth Spirit

Worcester Moot

Tarot Meditation Workshop with Angela at the Cardinals Hat at 8pm. Every second Tuesday of the month, first moots on 20 April and 11th May 2004. FFI Tim Andrews (01905) 795246 evenings. This replaces the old Worcester moot. This is a PA moot.

Leamington Moot  House Moot

Stratford Moot

Please note that the evenstar moot now is now known as the Stratford moot and meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 7.30. Contact details: ravenhawk@kereve.com. The phone number is now unlisted. This information is probably wrong as the web site has gone.

Tamworth Moot

Wychbury Grove

The Wychbury Grove is a BDO/TDN grove which is now a closed grove.

Warwick Pagan Soc

Stourbridge Pub Moot

Wolverhampton Pub Moot

 The Moot is now at the The Clarendon Hotel, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton. Held on the first Tuesday of the month 8 pm to 11 pm. Regular talks & discussion. FFI singe37@yahoo.co.uk

The Wulfrun Gathering, Wolverhampton

A midlands based group meeting in the Wolverhampton area. We hold 2 meetings a month, one being a formal meeting where we intend to have talks, both by members and external speakers, and to discuss pagan matters in general. Redditch Moot

Circle of the Greenwood

Wednesbury pub moot

I don't think this moot is still running.

Dudley pub moot
