Dick's Rickenbacker 330 12 string. "Love the sound but it's a pig to play cleanly! I know it's their style but why do Rickenbacker fit their 12's with such narrow necks? Yeah - I know Jim McGuinn can do it but nobody likes a smart Alec. Tom Petty had the right idea with his signature model and got them to build him a wider neck. What did help a lot though, was to get the nut and bridge re-done in order that the individual pairs of strings sit closer together rather than all spread out in an even row. Tuning!
