Dick's Rickenbacker 350. "By what I can make out from Rickenbacker's mental serial number / dating system, I think this guitar was made in 1991. I bought it  second hand from Peter Cooks who described it as 'mint'. They weren't kidding - it actually looks brand new. I bought it unseen on the phone, hoping for the best. When it arrived I couldn't believe my eyes when I opened the case. It's a beautiful, metallic cherry red colour and an extremely pretty guitar. A steal at £500! What the heck does that little knob do? (Actually, I've re-wired it so it turns the middle pick-up on and off. Lots more tone variation on tap.) It's a cracker!"
