Dick’s 1956 Gibson 225TD. "A beautiful, almost unmarked example of "the other guitar" on the cover of the original Buddy Holly album.  It looks refined but the early P90's have a vicious bark that's pure rock'n'roll.  Les Paul displayed his inventive geniality in many ways but unfortunately not with his combined tailpiece and bridge assembly as originally fitted to this guitar and some others like the 295, for example.  I carefully replaced it with this old Bigsby and now it sounds twice as loud and stays bang in tune!"
