Statement From the Banner of truth TrustThe Statement below was issued recently by the Banner of Truth Trust and enclosed with the July issue of The Banner of Truth magazine. A fuller treatment of the case involving Mr Roberts is to be found in the August/September issue of the same publication which we would encourage our readers to obtain: "Readers of this magazine, and other friends of the Trust, will probably know by now that the Rev Maurice Roberts was suspended from the ministry of the Free Church of Scotland by a Commission of the General Assembly on 24 June last. We consider this action most unjust and gladly affirm that Mr Roberts enjoys the high regard and full confidence of our Trustees and staff and will continue to function as the Editor of the magazine". | |
