HCST Annual Day Out

On Saturday, 22nd July, we enjoyed a lovely day out at Drumnadrochit, near Inverness. Over 20 mums, dads and children had a fun time of races, balloon catching, football, etc. The weather was beautiful and at around 5 pm we got a barbeque going and had a good meal of burgers and sausages. It was also an enjoyable time of fellowship for parents who shared thoughts on Christian Education and the like.
After our meal we concluded with a time of worship lead by the Rev. Ivan Foster, who along with his wife, kindly came through from their holiday base in Kyle. The Rev. David Murray opened in prayer after which we sang Psalm 23 and Rev. Foster spoke on a few verses from the book of Acts and concluded in prayer. All felt the outing was a most worthwhile event and God willing we will try something similar next year.
