About the Lure Anglers' Society

The L.A.S is a national club for all lure anglers. There is an excellent quarterly magazine produced which, although predominantly pike based, has a very broad spectrum of articles ranging from lure making to bass fishing to exotic holidays. The articles are all written by the members and all contributions are welcome. You might be surprised just how many types of lures people use, and what they catch on them. Look in the "Magazine" section for a few examples from the magazine.

The L.A.S also has local chapters. These give anglers a chance to meet one another for fishing trips, talks or just a natter over a pint. Look in the "Chapters" section to see where your nearest chapter is.

There are also various national fishing events held. These include competitions and privileged access events as well as the annual conference, which is always a good day out. As well as a plethora of trade stands there are various lectures about a variety of subjects.  Look in the "Events" section to see what's coming up. Some events are members only, others are open to everyone.
