Congleton Weekend The weekend of March 21st/22nd saw about 14  players from Thornbury (plus help from Clevedon and Woodland Tennis Clubs) taking on Diana's club at Congleton. 		Welcome to the Web Site of Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club. We are situated in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, 12 miles northwest of Bristol. The club is set in an attractive, rural spot at the far end of the Mundy Playing Fields. The grounds are spacious, with a clubhouse, and 6 all-weather courts, four of which are floodlit. We also have occasional use of 2 public courts which are adjacent to our club. The club house is modern with kitchen facilities, changing rooms, and a large communal area. There is disabled access to the tennis courts and into the tennis club, but as yet there are no special facilities within the clubhouse.  Parking is available close by in the general Mundy Playing Fields carpark. Access to this carpark is via Kington Lane (off Castle Street).  <see map>
