How to Join The Club Programme Boats For Sale Notices Under Way
The Club has a limited membership of 150 single and family (includes children under 18 years old). Anyone who wishes to become a member of the Club, save for temporary members, must be proposed and seconded by members (of at least two years standing) of the Club. To keep costs down we do as much site maintenance and improvement work as possible ourselves using work parties. Members are expected to participate in these working parties whenever possible.

An application form is available from the Secretary. If you do not know any members we recommend that you introduce yourself at the moorings or at a social event. You will soon get to know some members who will then act as your proposer and seconder. The proposer must offer a written submission in favour of the applicant. Applications for membership are displayed on the Club notice board for 4 weeks and then go before the Management Committee that meets monthly.

Membership fees/loans (2008) are as follows: -

Annual Subscriptions Single £30 Family £35
Entrance Fee £100 (one-off payment)
Site Development Loan £100 (returnable).

There is an additional £50 deposit if you wish to be placed on the waiting list for a permanent mooring. Until one becomes available (this can take several years), it may be possible to allocate a temporarily vacant mooring on a casual basis. When a permanent berth is allocated a further £350 'key money' is required. The £400 (key money + deposit) is returnable when the mooring is surrendered.

Mooring fees (2008) are as follows: -

Permanent £5.75 per 0.5 metre per annum
Casual £0.08 per 0.5 metre per day
£0.32 per 0.5 metre per week.

Winter storage, craneage, etc are charged separately.
