| Formed from the remnants of past bands spanning a couple of generations, a mix of experience, enthusiam and sheer stupidity brought together the talent that is now known as Liquefy. They add their own unique interpretation of songs, old and new, well known and obscure, peppered with the odd original number to bring an unpredicatable life to live sets across the Midlands. Forget age, forget looks, just bring the noise.. |
| Big Al | 'H' | |
|
The reason Liquefy exist today and the corner stone of the band. He plays lead Guitar, contributes backing vocals and introduces a 'Mario' style guitar technique set to become the defining sound of the 'naughties'. Known for instigating drinking sessions purely for inspirational purposes and his ability for turning any situation into a reason for having a swift pint. Not one for fame or fortune, he's at his happiest when he plugs in his kit and something doesn't blow up. |
The baby of the band at 30 something, he plays guitar, contributes lead vocals and writes the tunes. Enjoys a good chug and secretly wants to turn the band into the next Static-X. He's known for snapping strings on a regular basis, but with his guitar locking system and thrifty nature, has not restrung his guitar since May 1996. He attempts to transpose every song to the key of E for consistency purposes, not to frustrate the pants off the other guitarists. | |
| Brian the Bass | Jonster | |
|
Another experienced mainstay of the band, he plays bass and keeps the drummer in check. He invested in a bass with 20% extra string real estate free, bringing a new dimension to the phrase fat bassline. He recently patented the saying, "That was a little quick" and is currently looking into state of the art governor technology for over enthusiastic drummers. Known for his rawkess rock'n'roll life style, that culminates in a swift half and a bag of nuts. |
Another young nipper of the band, known for a grin spanning the width of his bass drum and is said to keep time more acuratley than the quartz found in the latest GPS satellite technology. He most enjoys playing songs twice the speed just to see what colour the guitarists turn next. His ambition is to invent drummer "bullet time" where he can throw multiple objects at the rest of the band without skipping a beat. |
