Frequently Asked Questions.

Are you another racist party?

No definitely not. We are a Patriotic Party and have members from many races, creeds and ethnic backgrounds. We seek to represent the interests of England and those people who live here, including those born in either Scotland or Wales who live in England and do not enjoy the same financial and democratic privileges as their family and friends who live back home.

Are you Right Wing, Left Wing, Extremist or in the Centre?

We are proud to be neither Right, nor Left, Just English. We seek the support of the People for the People with common sense and fair policies in as democratic a tradition as is possible.

Are you certain you are not another Nationalist Party?

Again definitely not, we are freethinking and tolerant. We would like to see more 'people involvement' in all levels of politics. We believe there should be no National Political influence or dogma in local government issues. We favour Referenda on any major or constitutional decisions.

Why are you pressing for a new tier of government? This will only mean more expense, more politicians and more beaurocrats.

In England a hidden tier of government already exists. There are Regional Government Offices, Quangos, Regional Assemblies and Groupings. None of these are democratically elected and more importantly, the voters cannot get rid of any of these decision-makers and money spenders. All we seek is to ensure these functions become democratically accountable. The fact is that Scotland is already democratically separated from England and we will have to run fast to catch them up. The only defence to splitting up England into easily digestible and less powerful regions is to ensure that a single English Parliament (a reformed House of Commons) is established to formalise what is already being done by stealth. The UK Parliament (a reformed and fully elected House of Lords) will have less to do and can be more efficiently contracted in size and cost. We do not seek any extra tiers of Government, no new and expensive institutions or buildings. Finally, when all tiers of Government are properly democratic, there will be less beaurocracy and lower costs than now.

Are you anti Europe and Euro-sceptic?

Europe is a very important and close trading block. It is essential that we have excellent relations with all the EU Countries and easy access to all European Countries. We do not see moving towards a Federal States of Europe is the best future for England. We believe that we must maintain good relations with all major world blocks, including the United States and Far Eastern, also we should re-kindle closer ties with Commonwealth Countries. We see England's strength as being a bridge between all major areas of the world.

Are you against Immigration?

No we are not. We believe there should be a clearer and firmer policy on immigration, like in Canada and that the existing law should be more effectively enforced.

What about Iraq? If you were in power would we be in or out?

Out. This is now a civil war. We ask our loyal troops to defend our Nation and our Interests. We do not believe this is their present role in Iraq.

Are you PC?

We think PC has got out of hand and in some cases has taken on a life of its own. We would like to see a return to Reality and Common sense. That makes us RC?

Do you support the Royal Family?

We believe The Queen as Head of a Democratic Monarchy is the very best for England.

Do you intend to dissolve the Union or break up the UK?

No, but we are aware the SNP has called for this. We seek an English Parliament as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have but feel the UK Government should retain a proper role in matters like Defence and Foreign Policy.
