Racing with Dragons
Todd A. Burnett, yup, that's me. I've been writing for a number of years in high school, university and beyond, had some work published in my school newspaper, and have a drawer full of the stuff at home. Notably in 1988 I won a "Superior" award from the Journalism Education Association of America's national convention in San Francisco for yearbook copy and caption writing while working as the copy editor of The Round Up, my school yearbook. I got a big dangly medal for it and everything.
Racing Dragons is the first novel that I've had put into print, and it's been a long time coming.
From the opening sequence to the final chapter, I've enjoyed writing this story and following the adventures as they unfolded before me. It was my desire to keep the action as fast paced as possible, but to make the story humorous, fun to read, and aimed at the widest scope of readership possible.
The sequel, Foreverman, is on the way, and I hope it will receive the same great reviews that Racing Dragons has had.
