Is it slightly worrying that the top three are all Armies that have had very recent updates? Are we seeing the Fantasy version of Codex-creep?

Warriors Of Chaos, usually a popular choice, are presuambly so low because their new Army book is not due until November 2008, and they've been using a get-you-by list from White Dwarf. But the new Army book is out now so I'd expect a boost, and I must say that I do like the new Marauder Horsemen...

So what does this prove? Not much really. It counts which armies are most popular at UK Grand Tournaments in 2008 only. These figures will probably bear no relation to tournaments in other parts of the world, local competitions anywhere, what's played in your local shop or club, or what sells the most. These figures may be interesting (or may not), but you can't extrapolate anything from them. They are simply a record of what's been played in recent UK Grand Tournaments.
