Notes: This list is generated from armies used at the Call To Arms tournaments, 2002-2006 and 2008.

No Bretonnians! I'm stunned.

On a more serious note, the 2008 event only had 10 participants. You have to wonder if Games Workshop will continue to run it with such a low turnout.

The full results, broken down by event and including the Winter Warmers, is available here. It's an Excel spreadsheet, so you'll need a compatible program to read it.

Some miniature manufacturers (e.g. Pendraken) produce their figures as individuals rather than as strips like GW. To aid in basing these for Warmaster or Warmaster Ancients, I've created some base templates. Print them out, stick them on plasticard, cut them out and you have DIY bases, all marked out ready to stick your figures on.

wm04.pdf - 4 figures/stand.
wm05.pdf - 5 figures/stand.
wm06.pdf - 6 figures/stand.
wm07.pdf - 7 figures/stand.
wm08.pdf - 8 figures/stand.
wm08s.pdf - 8 figures/stand, staggered for archers.
wm09.pdf - 9 figures/stand.
wm10.pdf - 10 figures/stand.
wm12.pdf - 12 figures/stand.
wmaBlank.pdf - Blank units and Character bases.

There is another miniatures wargame I've recently discovered - De Bellis Antiquitatis, or DBA for short. Each army is made up of 12 bases of various sizes, depending on the unit it's representing. This game also needs you to make your own bases, so I've created some templates, to both 15mm and 25mm standards.

dba15.pdf - 40mm wide, various depths up to 40mm.
dba25.pdf - 2 pages, 60mm wide, various depths up to 80mm.

These base templates above were created by me, and are released into the Public Domain. Download them, print them, do what you like with them. Enjoy.

The files below are also created by me, but I retain the copyright. Permission is granted for you to download these files for personal use only.

Inspired by the colourful counter sets available from the gw-warmaster Yahoo! group, I've made some of my own for some of the armies not included there. Lacking any graphical skill whatsoever, mine are much simpler. There should be enough counters in each file to enable you to make an army of 1000 pts.

Araby - The latest (last ?) official army for Warmaster.
Albion - Trial armylist, first published in Warmaster #20.
Dogs Of War - Trial armylist, from the 2003 Annual.
Ogre Kingdoms - Trial Armies Compendium list, enough here for 2000 pts.
Witch Hunters - Trial armylist, first published in Warmaster #13.

Chaos
Dæmons
The Empire

• New - Bretonnia
• New - Dark Elf
• New - Lizardmen

Warmaster Ancients is a variant produced by the same people who publish Warhammer Historical. Based on the original Warmaster (minus the Flyer and Magic rules ...) it looks like a great ruleset. All I need is an opponent. Below are counters for some of the 25 armies in the original rulebook. These files should allow you to produce an army of 1000 points.

Homeric Greeks - You too can be Brad Pitt.
Trojans - or maybe you'd prefer Eric Bana?
Imperial Rome - At my signal, unleash Hell!
Norse - Vikings!
Anglo-Saxons - Here's one in your eye ....
Normans - An army fit to conquer England.

Ancient Egypt
Hittites
Classical Greeks
Ancient Britons
Later Romans
Arthurian British
Qin Chinese

Playsheet - Version from the Rulebook.
Army Roster - Version from the Rulebook.
