EVA-00 Pilot : Rei Ayanami (1st Child) |

This is the first EVA to be built. Appart fromt the head and the chest, its design is similar to EVA-01. The initial color of EVA-00 was orange (shown to the left), thhe performance of this EVA was very unstable, it was unable to obtain high Sync Rates, it was redesigned and painted blue (right). In its first battle, Rei chose to self destruct EVA-00 in order to save Shinji from the Angel Arumisael. |

EVA-01 Pilot : Shinji Ikari (3rd Child) |

Modified from EVA-00 under Project E, this EVA is the most powerful among the three. A Great amount of resources were put into its improvement. The EVA had high Sync Rates with the pilot and this boosted its performance. The only EVA that made a 3 second power-up. In all three attempts, the EVA went 'berserk' and destroyed the Angel. |

EVA-02 Pilot : Asuka Langley (2nd Child) |

The first EVA to be put into mass production. It was the first man-made EVA. The design and body parts were produced in Japan. The assembly and testing was conducted at Doyce. The body of this EVA is red in color and it has four sensors on its head. (These sensors tend to be mistaken for eyes.) A progressive knife is kept on its left shoulder blade. |

EVA-03 Pilot : Toji Suzuhara (4th Child) |

EVA-03 was black in color and its designed similar to EVA-02. During its journey to the test site in Japan, it was corrupted by the 13th Angel "Bardiel". EVA-03 leveled the test site when it was powered up, and trapped the pilot inside it. Knowing that they have completely lost EVA-03's control to the Angel, Nerv sent out all three servicing Evas to hunt it down. EVA-00 lost an arm in the process and EVA-02 was severely damaged. EVA-03 was finally destroyed and torn to pieces by a Dummy Plug controlled EVA-01. |

This EVA was produced in the US. The US NERV HQ was wiped out in a blast (an experimental S2 engine is thought to have caused the explosion) during its first test power-up. It looks alot like EVA 03, but is white. |

EVA-05 to EVA-13 Pilot: Dummy Plug (Pilot Not Required) |

These models are the final version of EVAs and they all are the same. These Models have a reptilian head, a big mouth and they have flying capabilities. This version of EVA works without any electrical supply or pilot, and is fully controlled by the Kaworu Dummy Plug. The S2 organ engine in these EVAs have been fully developed by SEELE and they function better than any previous models. These Models are not easily defeated, behead them or cut off their arms and legs, and they regenerate themselves. These are by far the finest humanoid weapons in the world. |

A pistol
type weapon for the EVA. This was used in the first episode by Shinji
in the EVA 01. It seems to be a very weak weapon and there is no record
of a Angel being defeated by this weapon.

Progressive
Knife

|
This dagger
isstored in the left shoulder blade, in a compartment, on the EVA models.
The blade is made of a material which cut at a high-frequency, its vibrating EVA 02 has a knife that when break will automaticaly bring out another blade to attack with. The only successful kill using the Progressive Knife was done by EVA-01 on Angel Shamshel, just before it power ran out. |

N2 Bomb

The only
conventional weapon proven effective against the Angel. This bomb was
able to temporary stop the attack of Angel Sachiel and Israfel. It was
designed by the military, and not intended to be used by the Eva's,
until EVA-00 attempted a kamikaze attack with it, and proved it's value
in combating the Angel. Later Angel Zeruel was unharmed by the use of
this bomb.

Power

For an EVA to work it has to be connected to a power suply. They use a powere connector to external power to the Eva's. The connector fits into the back of the EVA. There are many connectors around Tokyo-3, so EVA can change when the length of the connector runs out. |

Sniper Rifle

This powerful weapon was used to detroy an Angel called Ramiel, that was attacking NERV HQ. This weapon is so powerful it used all the power in japan for one day. This weapon has to be recharged for 10 seconds before a second shot can be fired. This weapons This allows the weapon to recharge. It successfully penetrated the A.T. Field of Angel Ramiel and thus destroyed it. |

Pellet
Rifle

Similar to
a machine gun, but seemly weak fire power. Not known to have penetrated
any Angel's A.T. Field. Stored in underground shelters, through-out
the city that and rise from their containers when required. Angel Matarael
was killed by EVA-01 using this Rifle.

Shield
|
|
This shield is constructed of hybrid materials, designed to withstand short blasts from a Angel. EVA-00 used this shield to protect EVA-01, when he was firing the positron cannon , during the cross-fire with Angel Ramiel. The shield melted after a 17 second blast, causing serious damage to Eva-00. |

D-Suit

The EVA D-Suit is used to withstand high pressures and heat. (Looks like an over-sized deep sea diving suit.) Piping delivers the coolant into the suit, keeping the EVA and its pilots inside safe and comfortable. # This was used with Asuka, pilot of EVA 02, to retreave an Angel still growing in an egg shaped cucoon. |
