Indian club were
away for their third match of the season
The Indian Club took a sound victory away at Churchover, only dropping two legs from a maximum possible tally of 35. Jack was back from India to play his first game of the season and narrowly lost out in the first game. Best game was Julie in the final leg who came back from 3-1 down to win 5-4. The beer horse was a much closer affair. Both of the first two games were tied at 52 points apiece. In the one cheese play-offs the Indian took the first game and Churchover took the second. In the final game, Churchover, who were chasing 53, managed to win by 3 points to take the money. Raffle went to Chris who took a bottle of wine back to the club. Food was cheese and tomato rolls, salmon rolls and egg mayonnaise rolls with lots of chunky chips ..... lovely! |
