ABORIGINAL ART

Look at examples of Aboriginal art, such as the piece opposite.

a)Note how they only use EARTH COLOURS:
     BLACK = Charcoal. WHITE = Chalk.
     YELLOW = Soil. ORANGE = Soil.
     RED = Soil. BROWN = Soil.

There is no BLUE in EARTH COLOURS so a full range of colour is not available.
   b)Note also that everything becomes embellished with patterns, shapes and dots

Make a drawing of a beautiful butterfly and a creepy bug or spider. Then redesign your insects, only this time in 'Aboriginal' style.

Now create a practical design using the 'Aboriginal' style. Such as here to as a Aboriginal mobile phone.

Lastly, make your own boomerang with your name on it.
