SPLIT FACE
 Draw the basic shape of a face. Fill in one side in detail, as it would be normally. Then add a different, opposite, side to your person.
Draw out the proportions of face, then add the details of the eyes, nose and lips.

Concentate on
the shadows.
 
HOMEWORK Draw your own portrait by looking into a mirror.
Add images around your portrait to show the things you are interested in.
