PS Albion (ex - Slieve Donard)
Built in 1893 by J and G Thomson at Clydebank
Engines : Compound diagonal 26 and 55 in x 54 in
Dimensions : 200 ft x 25 ft
363 Gross Registered Tonnes

Built alongside her sister ship PS Glen Rosa, which went into the fleet of the Glasgow and South Western Railway
Went to Belfast Lough as PS Slieve Donard for the Belfast and County Down Railway Company
Bought by Captain Alexander Campbell in 1899 and transferred to P and A Campbell in 1900.
Stationed at Southampton
Brought to the Bristol Channel for the 1903 season, stationed at Newport
Went aground at Portishead in fog near high tide on April 1st 1907. Refloated with aid of tugs on the next tide
Returned to the South Coast, based at Brighton in 1913 and 1914
Requisitioned for war service in 1915 as HMS Albyn. being stationed at Dover for minesweeping duties.
Not refurbished after the war, but her engines were saved and used in the new Campbell steamer PS Glen Gower
