Please note that this website covers only a certain class of vessel - paddle steamers operating in river, lake and coastal trade (with a very limited coverage of certain other steamships). A large number of historical vessels do survive in the UK and worldwide - in the UK most vessels over 50 years old are registered on the National Register of Historic Vessels . On the NRHV website all registered vessels can be seen, with basic details and in many cases links to relevant owner's website. A selection can be made to show "Passenger Vessels", which includes remaining examples of vessels covered in the Paddle Steamer Resources by Tramscape database.
