Tucker
The
Tucker family were Cardiff tug owners who had sold their business
after the First World War and moved into the Bristol Channel
excursion trade with the purchase of two steamers from the Furness
Railway Company. The new "Yellow Funnel" fleet was in operation for
the 1919 season. The company maintined a presence on the Channel for
three seasons before succumbing to the Campbell's domination. To
compound the victory, the two paddlers were purchased by the
Campbells.
