Walking group for
20s & 30s - Kernowboots
At our AGM in March, Sally Berridge stepped down as group secretary, to be replaced by Catherine Lyon, and Alistair Beasley took over co-ordinating our programme of walks. We also decided to call ourselves ‘Kernowboots’.Amongst other outings through the summer so far, Anna led a walk from Porthallow on the Lizard. Phil’s walk on Bodmin Moor attracted some Devon Bootleggers from across the border. Alistair’s walk was our longest at 12 miles from St Erth via Trencrom and Lelant, and Catherine took us east to Looe.
Evening walks and a camping trip are to come, so a bit of nice weather would be quite welcome! We have a good selection of activities planned up until the end of this year with around three walks each month, so well done to all who are leading them.
