COASTAL FOOTPATH WALKS

In September, we will be moving from south east Cornwall to start down the north Cornwall coast at Marsland Mouth. It is well worth the journey to see and appreciate the more remote and wilder coast of north Cornwall with its wonderful views and atmosphere.

The coastal path walks, for those who don’t know, are held on the first Saturday of each month. We all meet, as published in the walks book, at the designated car park and are then transported by coach to the start of the walk so that we can easily return to our vehicles at the end of the trek. Costs are currently five pounds per person. Each month’s walk is between eight to ten miles long and is normally grade m. In its entirety, it is a wonderful walk around Cornwall’s picturesque coastline and takes two years and eleven months to complete the 431 kilometres/268 miles.

The walks have become very popular but I would still like to invite more walkers from all areas to come and join our friendly group.

I look forward to welcoming you all on our next walk!
