Here is some good news after a summer of miserable weather, Mullion Methodist Church has paid off the last outstanding loans on the Improvement Fund, which means we are now debt free and it was accomplished 18 months ahead of schedule! Truly wonderful.

There have been many times when thanks has been extended to everyone who has supported us in this fundraising and we do so again now, but we would also like to thank everyone who worked so hard to organise events, write letters to Trusts, prepared food, served it or washed up afterwards; the people who have given up their time to come and entertain or people who have donated prizes for competitions or helped in any number of ways.  Without these people, this would not have been possible.  We have so many people with wonderful talents in this area and they have gladly used them to help, so thank you, one and all.

We are hoping to be able to do some fundraising for other charities or local organisations now, but no doubt, something else will come along that needs attention, so we won't be idle!
