Truthwall farm is a large character filled farmhouse situated in a quiet and peaceful setting affording wonderful views across the Cornish countryside. The accommodation is a self contained part of the main farmhouse and offers use of a large, mature garden and ample parking.

Truthwall Farm was originally farmed as a mixed farm of 150 acres and had 100 cattle as well as pigs, poultry and various arable crops. The Goldsworthy family still run Truthwall but today it is home to local horse owners who graze their animals on the farmland and stable them in converted farm buildings.

Truthwall is an ideal touring base from which to visit the many beautiful areas within the south and west of Cornwall. It also offers some peaceful country walks and gives the visitor a different aspect  to the beauty of Cornwall, showing the County's inland scenery. There is a safe and pleasant walk from the farm to the village of Leedstown, containing a post office with grocery shop, pub, and chapel. Also two farms in the village sell fresh goods from their barns.

This is the actual accommodation which is the far right-hand side of the farmhouse when viewed from the garden.

Your accommodation at Truthwall comprises of a very comfortable sitting room with an electric fire , colour TV, video and DVD player. The well appointed new kitchen is fully fitted, has an electric combination microwave and electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and kettle etc. There is a shower room and separate toilet, both have wash hand basins.  Bedroom 1 is very large, accommodates three single beds and leads into bedroom 2  which has a fitted wardrobe, a double and a single bed. The airing cupboard, with emersion heater is accessible from bedroom 1. As you would expect, all rooms are carpeted, except the toilet. A cot and baby chair are available on request and whilst electricity is supplied by a £1 slot meter, the farmhouse is equipped with all linen, cutlery and crockery. Prices for one week range from £180 in low season to £480 in high season.

Using Truthwall Farm as your holiday base, you are within easy reach of the south (Lizard) and west (Lands End) peninsulas, the heart of both being within a 15 mile radius. The popular beaches of St. Ives and the 3 miles of golden sands at Hayle are also only a short drive from your base. There is a skittle alley and trout fishery within walking distance. Other attractions that are close by are Camborne Leisure Centre with it's two pools, West Cornwall and Praa Sands Golf Clubs and the excellent family attractions of Paradise Park at Hayle and Flambards at Helston.

To find us take the first turn off the A30 into Hayle. At the double mini roundabout turn left up Guildford Road. Continue along this road for about three miles where it joins the B3302 and turn left towards Helston. After approximately a quarter of a mile you will find Truthwall Farm on your right hand side. For further information Truthwall Farm is on your left about 1 mile north of Leedstown on the B3302 Helston to Hayle road.
