ARTS EVENT LIST :: HASTINGS :: Friday 14th May 2004
Website :: http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/twinarts

Dear Arts Event List Readers,

This events list was started some nine months ago and has given me a great insight into, as well as a means of discovering the arts in Hastings. From the large amount of positive feedback and email responses, I know that AEL has helped to stimulate participation in arts activities in the Hastings area.
     My appeal for donation/subscriptions has so far had 3 responses from a list of 350 readers.  I am of course grateful to those three readers, but in the long term this enterprise cannot develop or be sustained without a secure funding basis. I shall continue to search around for a means of sponsorship, therefore AEL : Hastings may return at some point in the future. Meanwhile, I will publish occassional notices for arts events with which I am directly connected.
     I would urge you to join and support organisations such as Hastings Art Forum and to send details of your arts events to them for circulation by their email list.  In Hastings there are many excellent arts information services such as Ulimate Alternative & Go4Tune and the weekly Hastings Observer.

Best wishes

Chris Hamblin

    When you go through the subscription process, there is an option to receive any messages sent during one day as a single email, which some people prefer. It is under the 'Message Delivery section' and it is called 'Daily Digest'.
