The Band dig deeply into the forms from the celtic traditions of Ireland, Scotland, Shetland, Bretagne, Nova Scotia, New England, and Galicia. This is a chance to hear some music that CSB share and enjoy :: reels, jigs, hornpipes, O'Carolan Planxty's, slow airs, mazurkas, polkas, strathspeys, waltzes and many others. | ||||||||||||||

Adrian
Underhill :: Guitar An incisive guitarist who refined his instrumental work in its role with folk, jazz, improvisation, poetry and story telling. He played in folk music bands in London in the 70's. Joined the Dave Holt Swingtet in Hastings, then formed his own jazz band "Eddie Ferret" with bassist Roger Carey. Formed Jazz Duo with sax player Pete Burden in 80's. Since then he has played Celtic and world music in Hastings, London and many places abroad. He played for ten years with the Stag Band and in other line-ups, and has now formed "The Celtic String Band" with Hastings fiddle player Chris Hamblin. |
