Chertsey Bridge

Built between 1783 and 1785, Chertsey Bridge is a Grade II listed seven-arch tied white
stone bridge designed by the architect, James Paine.  Situated about 550 yards
downstream from the M3 motorway bridge over the Thames, it connects Chertsey,
Surrey to riverside meadows in Laleham, Middlesex.
This bridge is considered one of the most beautiful bridges over the river and
is compared with Richmond
Bridge and Maidenhead Bridge.
