Walkabout infos...

A 77.7 minute excursion into an imaginary Aboriginal outback, leaving the industrial world behind, confronting nature and being consumed by it. An accidental work of passion, an opus that revealed itself, and became a vast sonic movie.

Jim's cover notes...

"Walkabout" was constructed from the two 45 minute improvisations recorded on 23rd February 2000: "Braving The Industrial Bush" and "Catatonia". Two strikingly different pieces, yet they were able to be thematically linked - almost seamlessly - as the 77.7 minute opus on this disc.  No Stockhausen source material, nor anything from the Nic Roeg film "Walkabout", was used in the making of this album, it is all pure coincidence! The realisation of the visions in this music didn't occur to us until some nine months later, during a re-auditioning trek through our archive.
