Cage infos...

Created from 2 very different sessions recorded the same night "Cage" involves themes from a certain film involving paranoia, unreality, confusion and manipulation. This strange atmosphere yielded 2 near-on segued suites designed to jolt and perplex the listener. Be prepared for a very strange trip.

Three Cages Of Your Own Making
As if transmitting via telepathic radio, a strange voice declares "This is a cage of your own making". Are we captured, being manipulated, or what? The sonic swirls and convulsions paint a sonic story that will be different to each listener. As if our very psyche is being sucked through a straw, this strange sound world is destined to challenge.

Existenzial Surgery
6 slices from a 46 minute improvisation, condensed and mixed for maximum surreality. Ghostly voices penetrate the folding and scattering cascades of sound, jolt/splice, the mood changes as unfathomable sounds turn inside themselves, a musical focus gathers, but is destroyed as soon as it gels, jolt/splice, ... it would seem that we're trapped in some experimental surgery ... a physician discusses his handiwork "A hole in the spine, isn't it?" Yet, it seems that the patient will not survive!
