When the body of a mysterious man turns up early one morning in the River Thames directly beneath London Bridge all of a sudden several International Security organisations turn up at New Scotland Yard all claiming ownership of the body. Some have something to hide, others have something they desperately want to find out.
But what is the connection between the dead man, a mysterious Irish girl, a reclusive Russian businessman and the apparent disappearance of Sir Richard Crowthorne? The Commander has a lot of powerful people demanding answers and he has his hands full trying to keep them down and apart from each other, meantime it would appear one stranger may hold the key to finding out what is going on before it is too late.
