Those who know me well should be able to identify my usual dry humour and some of the locations used easily enough. Born and bred in the Southern England county of West Sussex, I did ten years of single handidly maintaining a 250+ terminal IT network in one of the county's leading secondary schools before in early 2008 achieving a lifetime's ambition by becoming a Conductor on the railways with Southern.
Ambitions are that someone (even if it is only one) reads the story(s) and enjoys them.

Holborn and all subsequent instalments in the
series up to and including 'Earl's Court' were written on my humble little Hewlett Packard
Jornada 720 palmtop PC which travels with me absolutely everywhere. Its amazing how much you can write while waiting for a Metropolitan Line train at Chesham or travelling home on a Southern Arun Valley express with hot and cold running tea trolleys!! |
The writing of Lewisham saw me retire the old Jornada from front line service and replace it with a specially imported HP iPaq 4250 which has proved more than capable of the hammering I tend to give all my I.T. equipment!!
Secondary ambitions would be to see the novels published in print, something that is being casually investigated at the moment although I do not expect anything to come of it. Then who knows maybe the motion picture - unlikely I know but stranger things have happened! Also I want eventually to make enough money to be able to retire to some remote Scottish village and grow old disgracefully!
Well I can dream can't I?
