Leytonstone, out at the base of the Hainault Loop at
the eastern end of the Central Line features very briefly in 'Epping' and
makes an unrelated reappearance in 'Liverpool Street'.
It is also scheduled to give its name to the fifteenth
book in the series in 2009. |

Two late 1940's style entrances, one each side of the
line can be found leading to a subway and subsurface ticket hall below the
tracks. |

Being the junction station for the lower part of the
Hainault Loop, Leytonstone has three platforms, one up and two down. |
| The frequent Central Line service is provided by
these eight car trains of 1992 type Tube Stock all in the current corporate
Underground red white and blue livery. |
