Senior races are all about 5 miles and start at 11 am. All entries are on the day, it is recommended you arrive by about 10.30 to allow time to register. there is a charge of £2.50. All events include a junior race (Age 8 to 16 on 1 Sept) at 10.30 am which is about 1.5 to 2 miles, there is no charge for juniors. Note there is an additional charge for runners who are not members of participating clubs (this includes the junior race). Utopia runners compete in the East Sussex Sunday Cross Country league as a combined team with Heathfield Road Runners. 15 runners are required for a full team, 10 men (incl 3 over 40, 1 over 50, 1 over 60) and 5 ladies (incl 1 over 35, 1 over 45, 1 over 55), however a runner can be scored in a lower age group. There are also individual prizes by age category based on your best 5 races (or 4 of htere are only 5 in the season) However if you are a participating club you can have as many members running as you want and since cross country is a lot of fun we as a club like to see as many of our members as possible running these events.
