CARN BREA, HEAMOOR, PENZANCE

End of terrace granite town house on the edge of town away from the tourist crowds but still accessible to everything Penzance has to offer, this small but cosy house is the perfect touring base. Ideal for couples or small family.

Close to local village store, fish and chip shop, bakery, post office all 5 minutes walk away. Nearby are magnificent views across the bay to St Michael's Mount with large supermarket and petrol station 1.5 miles away. Penzance town Centre and the beach are approximately a 20 minute walk from the property. For traditional surfing the golden sands and rolling surf of Sennen Cove and the dramatic coastline around Lands End are just 8 miles away. Whether it's lazing in the sun, riding the surf, strolling the streets and shops of Penzance, walking the network of country and coastal paths or exploring the nearby fishing villages, stately homes and gardens, this property is close to them all.

One of Cornwall's most popular holiday areas. The spectacular sweep of Mount's Bay, from the cliff side fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, winding village streets and other places to visit and explore. Connected by causeway to the shore at Marazion is the National Trust's stunningly beautiful St Michael's Mount with its hill top castle and Mediterranean gardens. Walk across at low water and take one of the ferry boats back when the tide is up.

Penzance with its winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and harbour side is a must and is the jumping-off point for day trips to the Scilly Isles. Flights from the heliport (1.5 miles) continue throughout the year while in summer, the boat to the islands leaves daily. The South West coast path passing through Penzance winds it way along the cliff tops towards Land's End. On the way stop off for a coffee and a rest at beautiful Lamorna Cove, explore the open air Minack Theatre and marvel at the cliffs as you approach Gwennap Head. A stunning walk for those seeking solitude, exercise and some of the UK's best coastal scenery, Penzance is the perfect holiday base.
