After much pondering over ,should we go and buy a seperates bass / tops & amps system, or should we buy active ? We have invested a considerable amount of cash in the Mackie 1530 3 way active speaker system, Thanks to Sound control of Manchester, who put up with us constantly in & out of the store, while trying to make up our minds in what can only be described as a PA minefield, and who kindly let us borrow ,yes borrow ! a new system to try out on a gig, What a great store ehh? Bare this in mind all you muso shoppers !!! Allthough expensive, we where blown away by the clarity and response of these speakers, and shortly will be purchasing a pair of the active 1501 sub-woofers to match which will give us a 3k rig !. ( FRIGHTENING ) both price wise and volume, But only the best for the best! WATCH THIS SPACE !
