The Last Will and Testament In the name of God Amen, this forth day of April in the year of our lord God nne thousand six hundred and fifty. I EDWARD SWAN of Ickleton in the County of Cambridge, Yeoman, being sick of body, but of good and perfect mind and memory, laude and praise be given unto Almighty God. Therefore I do declare and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following. First and most principally I commit my soule into the hands of Almighty God, my only maker and redeemer trusting by and through him the bitter death and passion of his only son our savior Jhesus Christ to have full pardon and confession then of all my sins and offences and life everlasting, and by no other ways and means. Item, Touching the disposing of my lands, tenements and herediments, goods, chattels, household stuff and implements of household stuff the Lord God in his great mercy hath lent me, here in this vale of misery. This is my deviso will and mind as follows. First, I give will and bequeath unto John Crud my son-in-law and Annabel his wife, All that my freehold messuage or tenement wherein I now live, the yard and overyear stock there belonging, with all other of my freeholds whatsoever lying and being in Ikleton aforesaid with all singular these and every of these appurtenances. To have and to hold the said freehold with these appurtenancies unto the said John Crud and Annabel and to the hiers and assigns of the said Annabel forever. Item, I give and bequeath unto my sonne John Swan the sum of five shillings of lawful money of England, to be paid by my executor hereafter mentioned, within twelve month next, of my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto Margaret Swan my daughter-in-law the like sum of five shillings to be paid within twelve month after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto Margaret Swan my grandchild the like sum of five shillings to be paid within twelve month after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto Mary Swan my grandchild the sum of Ten pounds of lawful money of England to be paid by my executor within two years next after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto Robert Eppee, his children my grandchildren, to wit, Ann Eppee, Emm Eppee, Elizabeth Eppee and Robert Eppee to each of them the sum of twenty shillings apiece, to be paid by my executor within two years after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Margaret Rouib now the wife of William Rouib the sum of forty shillings to be paid by my executor within twelve months next after my decease. Item, I give and bequeath unto William Rouib his three children, to wit my grandchildren unto each of them the sum of twenty shillings apiece to be paid by my executor with twelve months next after my decease.
