Invoking our ‘Inner Imp’
4 June 2011 10am-4.30pm
Life can be even more exciting than we imagine, if we allow ourselves that possibility.. The ethos of this retreat is 'deep play' - a chance to reflect on big issues through creative methods which go beyond talking.
Using found objects, clay, and mask making we will identify constraints and old habits to let go of, and illuminate new possibilities which will transform and re -invigorate us.
We will remember’Imps’ that have inspired us and influenced us; let go of ‘shoulds’ which prevent our ‘Inner Imp’ from being more playful and then shape our ‘Inner Imp’ into two or three dimensional form using paint, wire, clay, masks and natural objects collected from the garden and river.
This workshop will be particularly suitable for people who do not see themselves as 'creative'. Cost £25
